Welcome to the Mal's Cart Display v1.1 Purchase Page
Description:
This cart display script is for use with Mal's e-commerce shopping cart,
the script combines a whole host of useful features, it tells the visitor
when the cart is empty, it only displays the cart variables that have content
e.g. if there is no discount or voucher it doesn't display any Discount: or Voucher: Field.
The script also calculates a true subtotal based on carts total without any discounts,
vouchers, shipping or tax included, it displays the number of items in the cart as a whole
number 1 not a decimal 1.0 etc
It has the ability of multi-currency, we have included a way to dynamically generate
price, currency and hash verification code for each product depending on the currency a
visitor selects, we have a script that checks if currency has been set and if not redirects
the visitor to the currency selection script page, then back to the page they were heading to and on top of all this we have a section of the scripts that displays different currency
symbols in the Cart Display depending on the currency selected by the visitor.
The script can also integrate
with the BWWD MTracker Affiliate Redirection Script which could allow you to display the
id of an affiliate (if the visitor came through an affiliate link) in the Cart Display.
Assuming the visitor doesn't delete their cookies the currency selection will remain every time they visit the site for 1 year or until they either change it or delete their cookies.
One more thing we have is a script to include on each page that stores the address of that page as a
cookie when the page is opened by the visitor, so if a visitor goes to the cart from that page, the cart display script knows what page to send the
visitor back to upon returning to the site with the continue shopping button.
